As per a report:

An ahemdabad based gynecologist and an insurance company will have to shell out Rs 8 lakh with 9% interest for 12 years for forgetting a mop inside a patient's body after a surgical procedure. Gynecologist Dr Vandana Amin ran a nursing home in Patan in 2002. One Mitaben Patel consulted her after the bleeding in her uterus did not stop even after a laser therapy. The gynecologist advised her to remove the uterus and a surgery was performed on the patient in October 2002. After the surgery, patient encountered another problem. A sonography report revealed a piece of gauze was present in the body.

It was found attached with the intestine and was creating multiple problems for her. Mitaben had to undergo another surgery and the mop was removed more than a year after her first operation. In 2003, Mitaben moved a consumer court in Surat, where she used to live. She demanded Rs 10 lakh compensation for the doctor's negligence. The court concluded that the mop had damaged the intestine and other inner parts of the body, and therefore ordered the doctor to pay Rs 8 lakh for her gross negligence. Since the hospital was insured, the insurance company also came into the picture. However, the doctor and insurance company questioned the order at the Gujarat State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission.

The commission upheld the earlier decision of the consumer court. "Was is not the duty of the gynecologist to verify that every instrument, gauze, cotton and other articles used during the operation were back on operating table after completing the operation or not?" the commission said. "If anything remains in the body during the operation, it is gross negligence on the part of the operating doctor." Besides asking to pay Rs 8 lakh to patient with interest, the consumer commission also ordered the doctor and insurance company to pay Rs 10,000 to the patient for dragging Mitaben to court again. - See more at: http://www.newskarnataka.com/from-the-web/doctor-forgets-mop-in-patients-body-asked-to-pay-rs-8-lakh#sthash.tEXjyxao.dpuf

As per a report:

A dead Indian guru has been in a deep freezer in his ashram for nearly six weeks with followers confident he will return to life to lead them, his spokesman said. Devotees placed Ashutosh Maharaj, whom authorities declared clinically dead on January 29, in the freezer and have been watching over his body in the sprawling ashram in a small town in northern Punjab state.

Maharaj, reportedly in his 70s, is one of India’s many gurus or god-men who headed the Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (Divine Light Awakening Mission) and claims to have millions of followers around the world. Mission spokesman Swami Vishalanand insisted their leader was not dead but was in fact in a state of samadhi, the highest level of meditation, and was therefore still conscious. Vishalanand told AFP that followers were now waiting for him to end his meditation.

Indian origin Girl in Britain grows beard

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
As per a report:

A 23-year-old Indian-origin girl in the UK, who has a condition that causes excessive hair growth, is challenging conventional ideas of female beauty by sporting a beard and says it makes her feel more feminine. Harnaam Kaur, of Slough, Berkshire, has polycystic ovary syndrome, which can cause excessive hair growth. She was just 11 years old when a beard started to appear on her face and the hair quickly spread to her chest and arms.

The condition made her the victim of cruel taunts at school and on the street. She even received death threats from strangers over the internet, 'The Mirror' reported. Kaur decided to stop removing her hair after being baptised as a Sikh - a religion in which it is forbidden to cut body hair. "I would never ever go back now and remove my facial hair because it's the way God made me and I'm happy with the way I am," she said. Kaur says she feels more feminine and has learned to love herself for who she is. However, it took Kaur some time to embrace her condition. In her early teens, she was so ashamed of her beard that she resorted to waxing twice a week. She also tried bleaching and shaving.

But it only made the problem worse - the hair became thicker and spread. At her lowest points she began self-harming and she even considered taking her own life. "I got bullied badly - at school I was called a 'beardo' and things like 'shemale' and 'sheman'," Kaur said. But now, Kaur said she feels more feminine than ever and chooses girly tops over baggy, high-necked jumpers. "I wear skirts, dresses and jewellery and I like to get my nails done like every other girl," she said.

Reports said that the driver in question was caught on camera assisting a doctor, while the latter was busy conducting an operation.

The news spread when the footage of the surgery was aired by some TV news channels. However, the hospital authorities categorically denied reports and said that no such thing ever happened. Superstitions and Beliefs of Space Scientists

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
Now what would you say this report of Superstitions and Beliefs of Space Scientists. As per a report:

Space scientists the world over may be working on advanced scientific fields. But they are not free of superstitions and beliefs, said an Indian space scientist.

While Indian space scientists pray to Lord Balaji at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh prior to every space mission for its success, their American counterparts eat peanuts.

"More interesting is the tradition of Russian cosmonauts who urinate on the right back wheel of their transfer bus on their way to the launch centre," a space scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) told IANS. "It is all individual beliefs.

One cannot take chance with God and poison," a former ISRO chief told IANS. According to a retired ISRO rocket scientist, a project director used to wear a new shirt on the day a rocket was launched. In line with the Indian tradition, pujas will be conducted before ISRO begins to integrate the various rocket stages, he added.

While Indian space scientists told IANS that the agency as a whole does not follow any superstitious acts, they are not able to explain the absence of the rocket named Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-13 (PSLV-C13).

After sending up the rocket PSLV-C12, ISRO jumped one number and called its next rocket, which launched Oceansat-2 and six European nano satellites, as PSVL-C14. Queried about PSLV-C13, a high-ranking ISRO official told IANS: "There is no such rocket designated with that number." He declined to say if ISRO considered 13 an unlucky number.

However, India's ambitious Rs.450 crore Mars Orbiter Mission in way was a tradition breaker as it flew on a Tuesday. "This was the first time in ISRO's history that a rocket was launched on a Tuesday. Tuesday is generally considered as inauspicious day," an ISRO official told IANS. But for a senior official involved in the Mars mission, Tuesday was a lucky day. "For me Tuesday is a lucky day," he told IANS, asking not to be identified by name.

Family lived with dead relative in their house for ten months because they thought it would keep ghosts away

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
Now what would you say this report that an Indian family lived with dead relative in their house for ten months because they thought it would keep ghosts away. As per a report:

A superstitious family kept the body of a dead relative in their house for ten months to keep spirits out. Three members of the same family were found living with the highly-decomposed body of a female relative in their house in Nagercoil, India. After a neighbour complained about the foul smell from the house in Ramavarma Puram, police found the body of 56-year-old Umadevi covered with a bedspread in one of the rooms. She had died on December 3, 2012.

The son of the deceased, her mother and her brother, were admitted to a government hospital as it was suspected they may have an infection and psychological disorder, Hindustan Times reports. Police said Umadevi's mother Sarojini, her son Sivaraman and her brother Sellampillai had always kept their house locked and did not speak to neighbours.

They had been living on the family pension of Sarojini's husband Subramaniam Pillai. As Sarojini did not appear for a renewal of life certificate, they did not get the pension in recent months. Police originally suspected the body had been kept in the house because they couldn't afford to pay for a cremation but then officers suspected they may be unwell.

Now what you have to say on it....pl. comment.

For this Indian Politician, Jail time & Criminal record is a Badge of Honour

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
Now what would you say to this Indian Politician, for whom, Jail time & Criminal record is a Badge of Honour. As  per one report:

When he decided to run for a parliamentary seat from this impoverished, and mainly low-caste constituency in northeast India, Kameshwar Baitha made no effort to sugarcoat his criminal record. Obediently, he catalogued the serious charges pending against him, all of which he says are false.

There were 17 for murder, 22 for attempted murder, 6 for assault with a dangerous weapon, 5 for theft, 2 for extortion, and so on, a legacy from Baitha's previous career as a leader of the local Maoist insurgency. On top of that was the fact that he was in jail.

But this did not hurt him with voters here, noted his son, Babban Kumar, who hopes to follow his father into politics. With people in this area, who look to elected leaders as Robin Hood figures, it may have helped.

"You have to fight against something, how else can you get into politics?" Kumar said. "Without going to jail, you cannot be a big politician." New impulses are rippling through Indian politics this year, as a growing, urbanized middle class demands that hundreds of tainted politicians be driven from the system. Uncontrolled Bad Financial Policies of Indian Government

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
Every Government wants to rule with the best of its policies but for a country having +120 Crore population, many Governments make policy mistakes, which cost the country tremendously & badly. Same mistakes have happened by many of the past Indian Governments & also the current Indian Government. Here are highlighted some of the major Bad Financial Policies of the Indian Government.

Living on Foreign Dollars:

India is a country of +120 Crore population. Here more & more younger class shall emerge in coming years who shall like to have a house of their own & enjoy all the modern gadgets, luxuries of life. Now, do India is equipped to handle all that demand? Indian Government has little done to promote its own small scale & middle scale industries which can cater to these modern gadgets like Mobile Phones, Televisions, Laptops, Computers etc. Take the case of mobile phones. Most of the Indians, even poor are having mobile phones nowadays but most of these are imported for which you require foreign exchange, increasing its demand. If there were good fully indigenous Indian companies providing these mobile phones then India would not have required foreign exchange to import it / its parts. Same is the case with Televisions, Laptops, Computers etc. for which or for their parts, huge foreign exchange is required to import it. Had Indian Government developed fully indigenous Indian Industries for these products, Indians would not have required that precious foreign exchange to import these. Indian Government would have taken measures which would have stopped Indians Living on Foreign Dollars & that would have controlled the increasing Current Account Deficit (CAD).

Incentives to stop investing in Gold:

Indians Love Gold. Reason being that they have very little good investing options. Though Indians have options of putting money in banks but Indian Government has made putting money in banks like Fixed Deposits (FDs) etc. unfriendly to investors. Indian Banks nowadays give interest rates which somehow do not cater to the increasing Inflation after paying the taxes on its interest. Why can’t Indian Government make investing in Fixed Deposits (FDs) investor friendly by not taxing the interest on it. If interest on Fixed Deposits (FDs) is made tax free then people shall put money in FDs than putting money in Gold. Secondly opening a bank account requires so many documents while Gold can be bought across any street of India hassle free, from any shop & it does not require any documents to purchase it. So Indian Government needs to make it more investor friendly to open an account in a bank & interest on investment has to be tax free as then only precious foreign exchange to import Gold can be saved.

No control on Vehicles (cars etc.) coming on Indian roads:

Singapore has a policy that it restricts putting more & more cars on Singapore roads. They have made a policy like that “Huge money” is required to be paid to Singapore Government to have a license to have your own car & to put it on Singapore roads. Why have Indian Government allowed uncontrolled flow of cars on Indian roads, which guzzle all that fuel, which has to be mostly imported, for which precious foreign exchange is required. if Indian Government would have made some policy by which cars would have come in a controlled way on Indian roads then Indian fuel import bill would have been reduced, which is a big reason for increasing Current Account Deficit (CAD) in India.

No push to be self reliant on Coal & Oil:

Indian Government has lagged very much to have policies which would have made India self reliant on Coal & Oil. If Indian Government had given a great push to develop indigenous industries which would have catered to the demand of Coal & Oil then all these precious import dollars would not have been required. So Indian Government has to immediately push for those policies which shall produce more & more Coal & Oil in India only so as to reduce the import burden on Indian economy.

In short India needs to start earning dollars by producing more & more Indian products & then exporting these to earn more dollars, just like China has done with its economy. Indian Government has to stop living on borrowed dollars which is like soft money of Foreign investors, which is basically a loan to India & which they shall take back someday. Let India be self reliant on its Dollars. Let India earn its dollars than borrow it to sustain itself. May God Save India From This Financial Mess.

Holograms of Politicians should be replaced with them in Parliament

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
With more than 85% of the precious time wasted in Indian Parliament in this session, when Politicians stopped proceedings over the killing of Indian soldiers on the Pakistan border, Robert Vadra issue, clashes in Jammu and Kashmir and missing files on coal allocation, I have a suggestion to make that “Holograms of Politicians should be replaced with them in the Parliament”. With Indian Taxpayers paying so much money for each minute running of the Indian Parliament & these Politicians always protesting, fighting & wasting the precious time of the Indian Parliament, replacing them with their Holograms shall be the best solution to save time & money of the Parliament. Then their Holograms shall have to answer some preprogrammed answers only & some of them (opposition members holograms) can be programmed to protest only. These Holograms shall work just like the Programmed Robots who shall do the specific jobs like doing protests etc. or saying Yes or No in the Parliament.

It is a proven technology & has been implemented successfully at the London airport & is being recently implemented at London Council Office where a Hologram shall Replac a Human Receptionist. As per the report:

“London council building that is replacing a human receptionist with a hologram named Shanice.

The hologram is going to cost them a total of $19,000 and will be projected to appear as though she is sitting behind a desk, MSN reports. She will be programmed to answer a limited amount of questions for individuals who enter the town hall building, reports UPI.

According to the council, the hologram will be a more cost efficient measure -- plus humans answering questions is totally outdated anyway.”

So let’s save precious money of the Taxpayers by implementing the measure of replacing the Politicians in Indian Parliament with their Holograms. What do you say??? Your comments are awaited.......

Indian Politicians have lot to learn from Norwegian PM

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
Indian Politicians can learn how to woo the voters from Norwegian PM. As per a news report:

A video called 'One Day in June' was posted on the Norwegian Prime Minister's Facebook page on Sunday. It shows Jens Stoltenberg wearing a taxi driver's uniform and sunglasses, driving passengers around the streets of the Norwegian capital, only confirming his identity when asked. "So, you have begun driving a taxi," deadpans a passenger after realising who his chauffeur is. "Have you quit as prime minister?" asks another.

So Indian Politicians, take a lesson on tactics how to surprise your voters. Now what do you say on this report........Norwegian PM surprises voters by posing as taxi driver

After Pakistan army killed 5 Indian soldiers, what are the options with Indian Government

Subscribe to My Viuz Subscribe to My Viuz in MY YAHOO! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY GOOGLE! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY MSN! Subscribe to My Viuz in MY AOL! Subscribe to My Viuz in Rojo!
After Pakistan army violated ceasefire & killed 5 Indian soldiers at LoC, what are the options left with Indian Government:
  • Should Indian Government stop all diplomatic dialogues with Pakistan Government?
  • Should Indian army also cross LOC & kill Pakistani soldiers?
  • Should India go on a full fledged war with Pakistan?
  • Should India take help of United Nations or other Countries like USA?
  • Should Indian Government keep quite & let go what’s happening?

I think war with Pakistan or crossing LOC & killing Pakistani soldiers should not be an option, as both countries are nuclear powered countries & any risk of war can escalate the situation badly. India should not go before United Nations or other Countries like USA as they have their own interests with Pakistan & nobody is going to help India in resolution of such matters.
I think Indian Government should break all diplomatic channels with Pakistan immediately & stop all trade with Pakistan immediately. Bending before Pakistan on knees by not taking any action shall be absolutely wrong. Pakistan should get a message that if any happening of such type happens in future then consequences shall be bad for Pakistan, whether, diplomatically or economically. In any way Indian Government should not keep quite & let go what’s happening……. Indian Government should take some action immediately . Your comments are welcomed……….
