As per a report:

Rats forced the grounding of an Air India aircraft that arrived in New Delhi from Kolkata as the plane was taken to a remote bay for fumigation. The crew of the Airbus A-321, operating flight AI-021 from Kolkata, found a rat in the rear of the aircraft, airline sources said.

As soon as the flight landed and the passengers had deplaned, the aircraft was taken off service and removed for fumigation to a remote bay. Rodents are unwelcome guests who pose a serious threat to an aircraft as they can chew up and damage the hundreds of wires on a plane. The sources said they suspect the rats came from the catering vans which deliver food to the aircraft.

There have been cases in the past few years in which rats have reportedly delayed some domestic flights. Read more at: http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/rat-on-board-grounds-air-india-plane/1/375870.html

As per one report:

India's Sulabh International Museum of Toilets is third on the list of the world's ten weirdest museums compiled by the Time magazine. The Delhi-based museum, which traces the history of the lavatories for the past 4,500 years, figures in the list released by the publication on the occasion of the International Museum Day. Phallological Museum located in Reykjavik, Iceland tops the list.

The Museum of Bard Art in Massachusetts, US takes the second spot, followed by the Sulabh International Museum of Toilets. "Ever wanted to learn about the entire evolution of toilets throughout human history? Then get yourself to India to visit this museum, which traces the history of the toilet for the past 4,500 years. From simple chamber pots to elaborate decorated Victorian toilet seats, you'll see it all.

There's even a toilet disguised as a bookcase," The Time said. Other museums in the list include The Museum of Broken Relationships, Zagreb in Croatia; Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum (Osaka, Japan), International Cryptozoology Museum (Portland, Maine); Meguro Parasitological Museum (Tokyo); Museum of Medieval Torture Instruments in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and the Kansas Barbed Wire Museum at La Crosse in Kansas, USA.

As per a report:

A man in Delhi faced the wrath for wasting valuable time of a consumer forum by filing a legal case against a multiplex for showing Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's movie Rockstar. The consumer forum on Thursday, May 9 dismissed a Rs 50,000 claim by the man who alleged mental harassment against multiplex authorities over bad quality of a movie he saw in 2011, saying he could have left the hall if he did not like the film.

A West Delhi District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum also rapped Delhi resident Lovenish Kumar Bhardwaj for wasting valuable time of the forum. The forum, headed by its President Bimla Makin, dismissed Bhardwaj's plea claiming a compensation of Rs 50,000 on account of mental harassment and agony suffered by him while watching 'Rockstar' movie in December 2011 at Movie Time Multiplex in Rajouri Garden, due to the bad picture quality of the film.

"Where was the question of mental harassment to the tune of Rs 50,000? If he was not liking the movie, he could leave the hall and at best Bhardwaj would have suffered a loss of Rs 100 or 200. He spent more money on filing this complaint than what was his loss in the form of purchasing a movie ticket," the forum said. It also said that presuming if a ticket was purchased for seeing a movie for few rupees then even if some part of the movie was smoky or not clear, the complainant cannot be encouraged to approach the district forum for loss of petty amount and that too claiming a compensation of Rs 50,000.

The man had told the forum that after a few minutes of the show, he found that quality of picture was "very corrupt, smoky" on the screen and sometimes it got paused for a while. He had approached a torchman and multiplex authorities, but even after their assurance, the picture quality remained poor. He then gave a written complaint to the police in this regard, Bhardwaj said. Later, he approached the forum claiming that he was dissatisfied with the multiplex's services and was humiliated.

Do Elephants have Feelings?? Can they take Revenge on humans if their feelings are disturbed very much???

As per Yahoo news: Last week near the village of Matari in eastern India, a Kolkata-Delhi Duronto Express train struck and killed an elephant — an accident that is unfortunately commonplace in that region. The response by the herd is more surprising. About 15 elephants appear to be mourning the loss of one of their own and have returned to the site of the incident, the Times of India said. The elephants have refused to move the last several days, causing train disruptions.

The elephants also appear to be grieving in a more destructive way. They've damaged surrounding houses and even demolished part of a schoolhouse. Efforts to disperse the elephants using firecrackers have been unsuccessful. The elephants have persisted in their vigil. Read full story here

Seeing this incident I am of the firm view that not only elephants but all animals have feelings & they shall strike back on you if you shall disturb their feelings.....what do you say on it????
