In a bizzare story from this new report, a young bride actually turned out to be a boy after the marriage. This unfortunate incident took place with 37-year-old Balak Ram, a resident of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh in India. According to reports, Balak Ram paid Rs 50, 000 to get married to Hukum Singh, a dance troupe leader, who had promised him to find a bride.
As per his promise, Hukum Singh introduced Balak Ram who is reported to be mentally unsound, to a 29-year-old Raj Kumari and within 48-hour their wedding was solemnized. The wedding function was attended by number of Balak's relatives and friends. A whole week after the wedding, Balak Ram discovered to his disappointment that his shying young bride, Raj Kumari was actually a Raj Kumar.
He was, in reality, a 15-year-old boy. Police investigation revealed that Rajkumar (the bride) was a member of Hukkam Singh's dance troupe, and had agreed to don the role of bride for Rs 10,000. During the questioning, Rajkumar told that Hukum Singh advised him to run away from the village whenever he get the chance. Though, the matter has reached at police station, but still the cops are unsure over how to proceed in the case.

Dharambir, 15, was labelled a boy possessed by evil spirits for years. Reason: He would bleed from his eyes, forehead, cheeks, hands, ears, nose, mouth and other parts of the body.
Belonging to a farming family in Palwal, Haryana, Dharambir did not know what hit him when he first started bleeding at the age of 10.
It started with a simple ear infection that could not be cured by the local doctor. A few weeks later, he started bleeding from his ear and then it just kept getting worse over time.
“People in our village shunned him; they thought he was possessed by some evil soul. We were scared for he would suddenly start bleeding, at times even three-four times in a day,” said Shyam Lal, his father.
For a couple of years, the family moved from one doctor to another in search of a cure for this peculiar disease but to no avail. Finally, in 2011 Dharambir came to a private hospital in Gurgaon.
“Even I was surprised to know about the case. My first reaction was of disbelief but his family insisted it was a disease,” said Dr Shashidhar TB, consultant paediatrician, department of ENT, Artemis Hospital.
It was an episode on Discovery Channel that finally drew Dr Shashidhar’s attention to a condition called haemolacria.
“It’s a rare condition and only a few people are reported to have this condition globally.
There was no known cure. So after a lot of deliberation and consultation with other experts, I started his treatment,” said Dr Shashidhar.
Dharamir was put on a drug called Propranolol, which is used to treat hypertension. “It is known to stop bleeding so I took the chance,” he added.
It has been two years and Dharambir has not had a single bleeding episode. “A year ago, we stopped the medicine and he is under observation,” said the doctor. The boy’s family is relieved. “We had a tough time but life is getting back to normal. He has even resumed school. He will sit for his Class 10 boards next year,” said his father.

A "happy birthday" Facebook page created by a Richland, Mich., mom after her son lamented that he had no friends to invite to his birthday party has garnered 1.6 million fans since it was posted.
The mother created the Coliniseleven page on Feb. 2 for her son, Colin, who will turn 11 on March 9, MLive said.
Reuters identified the mom as Jennifer Cunningham.
Colin has a sensory processing disorder and another condition similar to Asperger's syndrome and austism that makes socializing difficult, Cunningham told WOOD-TV 8. The other kids at his school in Richland, a town of less than 1,000 near Kalamazoo, don't understand his disability and why Colin will act out, she said.
"We were talking about his birthday coming up and I had mentioned it a few times and he said he didn't want a party. And I said, 'Why don't you want a party?" -- "Mom, who am I going to invite? I don't have any friends,' " Cunningham said.
So Cunningham created the Facebook page, hoping some adults would wish Colin a happy birthday.
They did, by the thousands.
The page drew 4,000 likes in the first two days and exceeded 8,600 by Sunday, WOOD-TV 8 reported. Greetings and pictures poured onto the page from as far away as Switzerland and Scotland.
By the time the Daily Mail picked up the story on Monday the page was up to 13,800 likes.
As of 8:40 a.m. Thursday, 1.6 million visitors had "liked" Coliniseleven. Well-wishers included the at Alpha Xi Delta sorority at Indiana University, who attached a video, the Rosenberg, Texas, Police Department, and Grant Heile, a 14-year-old from Nashville.

Now what would you say to this Village school teacher who always remains absent from the school but hires a boy for teaching in his place. As per one
report:
A teacher of a government school at a village in Gadchiroli, in which three police jawans were killed during a landmine blast triggered by Naxals last week, has allegedly hired a 10th standard pass boy for teaching even as the former remains absent from his duty.
The matter came to light on Thursday during a visit to the Motha Zalia village under Korchi taluka of the district when the villagers alleged that a 10th class pass boy had been hired by a regular school teacher to teach the 18 odd students studying in the zila parishad primary school.
Sources said the teacher appointed at the school rarely turned up, except for signing the attendance record while he had hired a village boy to render services.
To add to the woes of the students, no classes were being held since the blast on October 16 damaged the school premises and no alternative arrangements have been made so far, village's ex-sarpanch Tanu Hurra said.
Now what you have to say on it....pl. comment.
